Exercise

Since I decided to start walking every day I've kept it up. I went out last night at 7pm and came back at 8.30pm and today I walked into and out of town with Graham. Although I wasn't too good with my eating habits today - I ate chocolate and had a chinese takeaway for tea.

Walking

I'm going to start going for a long walk every day to get some exercise and I've decided I'll be walking into and out of town every day.  Like Graham said, that way I can kill two birds with one stone if I need to get anything while I'm in town too.  Once the kids are back at school I'll add that on top of the school run.

I've just worked out and if I can consistently lose 1lb every week from here till Christmas then I can lose just about 2 1/2 stone which will take me to 13st 7lb. I'll be so happy if I can do that.

Goal weight

My initial goal weight is to be 12 st 12 lb. This will take me from being obese to being overweight, which is still not good, but is a damn site better than where I am right now.

BMI

My BMI is 37.3 weighing in at 16st. This is classed as being obese.

To go down a class into the overweight category I would have to be at least 12st 12lb.

To go down another class into the healthy range I would have to be at least 10st 10lb.

So my first goal weight is 12st 12lb.

I've just realised that to reach my first target, I'll have to lose 4 stone!!! I've got to be really committed to this if I want to reach 12 stone.
